Our neighborhood takes
pride in its friendly atmosphere, its strong sense of community, and
its place in Greensboro's history.
Aycock has a rich
architectural heritage, with most homes dating from the early 20th
century. The neighborhood is listed on the
National Register of Historic Places
and is one of three locally-designated
historic districts
in Greensboro.
The homes in Aycock
are various in style and size. Typical homes include two-story
Queen Annes,
Arts-and-Crafts style bungalows,
and
American Foursquares.
You can also find a scattering of other styles, such as
Tudor Revivals and
Dutch Colonials.
